Whenever a user searches for keywords that match your tag it will rise in value. This is because your tag is getting you more traffic to your website. The more user's that search the tag, the better.
Example: The tag "Casino" is purchased for $5. After one month the statistics show that the term "Casino" was searched 5,000 times by end users. We divide this by 50 and add it to the current value to create its new value. In one month the estimated value of the tag has risen to $110, based upon the 5,000 extra unique visitors the tag has received. But be warned! Unless your tag gets a consistent amount of searches each month you may find it gradually decreasing in value!
Managing tags: Once you have purchased a tag for $5 you have 100% ownership of it. In the management section of your tags you can update the url. This means you could lease your tag per month and point the url to another website. Alternatively when you feel the time is right, you can sell your tag and push to another user.
Please note: This formula is just an estimation of the tag's value. The most premium tags will be worth considerably more. At the end of the day a tag is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it.
